Digital First. Trust by Design.
Digitising field inspections, standardising rating judgment and replacing physical verification with QR-linked digital trust.
- Tablet-based site inspections with photos & geo-location
- Heuristics rating model built with senior bankers + Rating Committee
- QR-linked digital certificates replaced physical verification

From business problem to measurable impact.
Business Problem
SME credit operations had three related frictions: paper-based site inspections created delays and weak evidence linkage; rating assignment could vary by banker judgment; and physical rating certificates relied on printing and holograms that were costly and difficult to verify quickly.
My Role
Redesigned the workflows around the business friction: moving evidence capture to source, working with senior bankers to codify rating heuristics into benchmark-driven rules, retaining Rating Committee validation and introducing QR-linked digital verification.
Solution
Field inspections moved to structured tablet capture with in-app photographs and geo-location. A non-ML heuristics model narrowed the plausible rating range using benchmarks and structured rules, while the Rating Committee refined and validated the final rating. Digital certificates then linked unique QR codes to trusted records for instant verification.

Leadership Lesson
“Small technology changes can create large business impact when they solve the right operational problem — digitize evidence, standardize judgment where possible and preserve human accountability where it matters.”
