A banker who moved progressively deeper into technology.
I began my career in banking, not technology. That has shaped how I approach AI.
Approach
I tend not to start with “Where can we use this technology?” I start with “What business decision, customer experience or operating process needs to become better?”
Digitisation taught me process redesign. Credit analytics taught me statistical modelling and governance. PRISM taught me how machine learning could augment commercial judgment. OMEGA taught me to think in networks rather than rows. International analytics taught me source systems, data engineering, Hadoop and PySpark. Generative AI is now teaching me how to govern probabilistic technology inside enterprise transformation.
Across these changes, my role has increasingly become the bridge between business × data × technology × people.
